Liverpool Week in Review: A Smash and Grab, and a 15 Point Lead
Liverpool's incredible season continued last week with two very different games. First - the definition of a smash and grab over PSG in Paris on Wednesday evening. Alisson Becker stole the show, as well as a deserved 3 points from the hosts.
On Sunday, Liverpool faced relegation assured, bottom of the table Southampton at Anfield in what would surely be a straightforward victory. It was anything but.
And yet: 2 games, 2 more victories for Arne Slot's side. One foot in the Champions League Quarterfinals, and 15 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
